Adventure in Nepal is rich. There are number of choices for people, who have time for trekking, rafting, wildlife safari and for those who have constraints of time, there are mountain flights that impart a panoramic and scenic views of mountains, including the highest peaks of the world. As soon as you board a plane for mountain flight from Kathmandu, you cruise past breathtaking massifs of rocks and ice alongside the Himalaya and scenic views of the snow peaks within one hour.

Soon after the aircraft takes off from the airport in Kathmandu and cruises to the east you do not have to wait for long. Within some minutes, you come to see scenic views of Gosaithan. It is also called Shisha Pangma which stands at the majestic height of 8,013 m. Immediately to the right of Gosaithan, there appears Dorje Lhakpa (6,966 m), a mountain that looks like the number '8' lying down and covered with snow. To the right of Dorje Lakpa there is Phurbi-Chyachu, which looms over the Kathmandu Valley.
